Read the following story and answer the questions given below:  Title: A Hunter and His Loyal Eagle  Once upon a time, an eagle flew over the high mountains with its companion hunter in the woods. The hunter had been searching for food and water but found nothing. Finally, he came upon a small spring beside a vertical cliff. He was parched and famished. Taking his mug, he went to the spring and collected some water falling from the cliff. Just as he was about to drink, his eagle swooped down and knocked the mug out of his hand. The hunter was both angry and astonished by this behaviour. He tried again to collect water, but the eagle repeated its actions. The hunter, enraged, warned the eagle that if it did so again, he would kill it. Despite the warning, the eagle knocked the mug out of the hunter's hand once more. In a fit of rage, the hunter killed the eagle. Still fuming, he climbed the cliff to get water from the source. When he reached the top, he was shocked to find a de...

Analytica Reasoning Q.1 A person travels in his car at the speed of 60 KM per hour. He continually travelled for 2 hours 30 minutes from town A to town B. And stops 15 minutes at a fuel station.   If he travels 2 hours and 20 minutes more at the same speed reaches town C.  How many miles did he travel from town B to town C?  A) 150 miles B) 180 miles C) 200 miles D) 220 miles Solution   First, convert the total time to hours: 2 hours 30 minutes + 2 hours 20 minutes =  4 hours 50 minutes = 4.83 hours (approximately) Now, we can calculate the distance travelled from B to C: Distance = speed x time = 60 km/h x 4.83 h ≈ 290 km To convert this to miles, multiply by 0.621371 (1 km ≈ 0.621371 miles): 290 km x 0.621371 miles/km ≈ 180 miles So, he travelled almost 180 miles from town B to town C.  Conversion of minutes to decimals value: To convert 50 minutes to a decimal value (in this case, 0.83), you can divide the number of minutes by 60 (since ...

Q.1 If there are clouds in the sky and it looks to be raining shortly. Jeany leaves for his office 15 minutes earlier due to bad whether condition on his own motorbike, but he doesn't reach his office in time. Jeremy reaches in time as he goes to office by bus. Conclutions: I- Everyone should go to office on buses. II- Motorcycle is not good to go to offices. A) I follows B) II follows C) Both I and II follows D) Neither I nor II follows. Explanation: The correct answer is D) Neither I nor II follows. The passage only states that Jeany was late due to riding his motorbike in bad weather, while Jeremy arrived on time by taking the bus. It does not provide enough evidence to support the assumptions that: I) Everyone should go to office on buses (maybe some people prefer other modes of transportation also) II) Motorcycle is not good to go to offices (maybe the issue was just the bad weather, not the motorcycle itself. It might have some other issues.) Thus the passage only presents a ...

How to find the missing digits in the series  How to find digits in a series is both difficult as well as easy. There are some necessary initiatives that are helpful to solve the solution: For example:  Multiples of Even numbers: 2 x 1 = 2 2 x 2 = 4 2 x 3 = 6 2 x 4 = 8 And so on  2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and so on Multiples of odd numbers are numbers that can be expressed as the product of an odd number and an integer. For example: Multiples of 3  3 x 1 = 3 3 x 2 = 6 3 x 3 = 9 3 x 4 = 12  3 x 5 = 15 3 x 6 = 18 And so on  3,  6,  9,  12, 15,  and so on The same is the multiples of 5  5 x 1 = 5 5 x 2 = 10 5 x 3 = 15 5 x 4 = 20  And so on  3,  6,  9,  12, 15,  20 and so on Model Questions: Q.1 There is a series of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 ......  Find the next digit in the given series? A) 27 B) 29 C) 30 D) 31 Solution:  It is a series of the multiple of the odd digit  '5'  1 x 5 = 5 2 x 5 =...

School D has greater admissions than School B.  If the first two statements are true then the third statement is _______ A) True  B) False C) Uncertain  D) Unresolved  The answer is C)  Explanation: There is no comparison of school D in the first two statements, so school D can have more or lesser number of admissions than B Now let's have the same question for the third different statement:  Q.2 If school A has a greater number of admissions than that of school B. School C has a lesser number of admissions than B. School B has greater admissions than School A.  If the first two statements are true than the third statement is _______ A) True  B) False C) Uncertain  D) Unresolved  The answer is B)  A > B B > C B > A According to the fist two statements B cannot have th...
